Dr. Randy McIntosh serves as Vice-President of Research at Baycrest and Director of the Rotman Research Institute (RRI). A world-renowned expert in the use of neuro-imaging methods (fMRI, PET, EEG and MEG) and computational modeling to understand how brain networks change with aging and how the brain recovers from damage or disease, The Globe and Mail, Canada’s leading national newspaper, has ranked Dr. McIntosh among the top scientists in Canada’s largest city poised to break new ground in their field of research. Dr. McIntosh received his BSc and MSc in Psychology from the University of Calgary and his PhD in Psychology (Behavioural Neuroscience) from the University of Texas. He is a member of the Society for Neuroscience, Cognitive Neuroscience Society and the Organization for Human Brain Mapping, and a professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Toronto. Dr. McIntosh joined the RRI in 1994. |
